What can I say, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I would absolutely return. Pros: Very Attentive staff. Great selection of food on offer and suitable to all. The alcohol is mostly premium brands. The grounds are very well maintained. Free unlimited access to land of legends. The sports courts are great. Fabulous gym. The kids club seems great for kids (although I can only speak as an observer and not a user as I had no children) The little extras that made it special, bringing fruit and drinks to your lounger. The evening entertainment was live bands. Nice central location. Management focus on customer satisfaction and are proactive in asking what could be improved. Free bicycle use. Great promenade by the beach for out of hotel strolls. Cons: The rooms could do with a refurbishment as they are dated. The pool should be totally non smoking as it’s not pleasant for non smokers. While there was a smoke free zone around the children’s pool, it was rarely observed or enforced. The loungers on the beach could do with renewing as some were past their best. The live music was sung by a diffferent band each evening, however, their music repertoire was mostly the same, which after night 4 was boring. No games room/arcade for rainy days.

This hotel was incredible and thoroughly exceeded my expectations, despite already being high. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Volkan adigüzel in particular was a great member of the bar staff who delivered excellent service!!

We had a wonderful stay at Rixos Downtown, the hotel and expirence exceeded my expectations. When we first arrived we were appointed assistants (Niloofar and Yunus) which is a very new concept to me, but they were so helpful and welcoming. The food was really good and had a very large variety. The hotel is very family friendly and the rooms were spacious. Every staff was very sweet and friendly, also the cleaning ladies who would greet us in the morning across the hall. The hotel provides breakfast, dinner and lunch as well as drinks. They have a private beach which is wonderful aswell. I also tried the yoga twice with the instructor elicnoor and it was soo relaxing. Overall, i had one of the best expirences at Rixos Downtown. Would love to come again.

We stayed here the first week of May, the hotel was beautiful and not very busy or loud. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. Our rooms were cleaned daily. There wasn’t great entertainment or much to do after 5pm when no one was in the pool. We enjoyed our stay however I noticed that white people definitely get treated differently by a few staff members. One particular man that made the pizzas outdoors and pastas in the buffet would serve them before any coloured person. I stood first in queue for 5minutes whilst he served others behind me and didn’t acknowledge me whatsoever. I put my plate down and walked away confused until I noticed he did it another night too. It was a huge letdown and ruined my night as I felt embarrassed that a whole family stood and watched me wait for them to be served even though I was first in queue. Although there was a few of them who did little things similar to this, they weren’t as abrupt about it as he was.
